WeWALK Smart Cane 2

by WeWALK · TR

A white cane with an ultrasonic obstacle sensor, GPS navigation and an AI voice assistant built in

Hardware Also software Handheld device

What it is

A folding white cane with an ultrasonic sensor mounted in the handle that detects obstacles at chest and head height — the space a traditional cane's ground sweep never covers. It pairs over Bluetooth to a companion app that gives turn-by-turn walking directions, reads out nearby points of interest, and tracks public transit arrivals. A built-in voice assistant (backed by ChatGPT/Gemini) lets the user ask questions about a photo taken with their phone camera — reading a menu, checking a landmark — without switching apps. Physical buttons control navigation and a flashlight is built in for low-light visibility to others.
