Accessibility

We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. There has been no formal audit yet. What is in place:

• A skip link and named landmarks on every page
• One h1, headings in order
• Visible focus
• Atkinson Hyperlegible for body text
• Text size, theme, and a plain-language mode that work without JavaScript
• Filters and search that work without JavaScript
• External links that say they open in a new tab

Not done yet: axe checks in CI, and paid screen-reader testing with disabled users.
