What it is
The TD I-Series (available as the I-13 and I-16) is a rugged tablet-format device built primarily as a speech-generating device (SGD) for people with severe physical disabilities, controlled entirely by eye gaze using a built-in Tobii eye tracker. Alongside AAC software (TD Snap, Communicator 5), it ships with TD Control environmental-control software and is compatible with the EyeR infrared add-on, letting the same eye-gaze input that drives communication also operate doors, lights, beds, air conditioners, TVs and other infrared- or network-connected household devices from across a room.
