What it is
Genesis AI is Starkey's flagship prescription hearing aid platform, made in the USA. It uses what Starkey calls Neuro Sound technology, a deep neural network that the company says drives up to 80 million automatic sound adjustments per hour to separate speech from noise and manage directionality. A user-triggered feature, Edge Mode+, lets the wearer double-tap the device to have it run an instant AI analysis of the current listening environment and switch between 'Best Sound,' 'Enhance Speech' and 'Reduce Noise' profiles. It is fitted by a hearing care professional and controlled day-to-day through the My Starkey smartphone app, which also includes health-tracking and remote-care features unrelated to hearing.
