Signia Integrated Xperience (IX) is a prescription hearing aid platform from German manufacturer Signia (WS Audiology). Its distinguishing software feature, Signia Assistant, is an AI chatbot built into the Signia smartphone app. When a wearer describes a listening problem in the app, the Assistant — powered by a cloud-hosted deep neural network that is continuously retrained on real-world usage data — proposes a specific parameter change, which the wearer can accept, reject, or refine conversationally, and the change is applied to the hearing aid immediately. The devices are fitted and sold through licensed hearing care professionals.
