RTK-GPS robotic mower with no boundary wire and no antenna to install

Hardware Also software Mobile service robot

What it is

Segway's Navimow range of robotic lawn mowers uses RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) satellite positioning instead of a buried boundary wire, so the mowing area is set entirely through the Navimow smartphone app. The line spans several tiers: the entry-level i2 AWD series (roughly 800 m² capacity), the i2 LiDAR and LiDAR Pro series with LiDAR-assisted "Clever Avoidance" obstacle detection (800–2,000 m²), and the flagship X series for lawns up to 5,000 m² with steep-slope capability. Segway's "Network RTK" service delivers satellite correction data over the mower's built-in cellular connection at no extra cost, which the company markets as removing the need to install a physical reference-station antenna that earlier RTK mowers required.
