What it is
SeeHearBraille is a free iPhone and iPad app built specifically for Deaf-blind television viewers. It combines a channel-number lookup tool, a camera-based 'Scene Descriptions' feature that uses computer vision to describe what is happening on screen, and a 'Speech Converter' that transcribes spoken TV dialogue into text in real time. That text can be read aloud through VoiceOver or sent directly to a Bluetooth-connected refreshable Braille display, and the app states it supports multiple Braille keyboards and pin layouts.
