What it is
A wearable robotic exoskeleton with powered hip and knee joints, worn over the legs and torso and controlled via crutch-mounted triggers combined with motion sensors that detect the user's weight shift and intent to initiate a step. Designed for people with spinal cord injury (paraplegia), it enables standing, walking, turning, and — in the current generation (ReWalk 6.0/7) — navigating stairs and kerbs, with two customisable walking speed settings and a smartwatch/app interface for tracking usage and goals. Manufactured by Lifeward (formerly ReWalk Robotics).
