What it is
A multi-articulating myoelectric prosthetic hand with five independently moving fingers and a thumb that rotates electrically or manually. Force-sensitive resistors in the fingertips detect contact pressure and relay a vibration to the user's residual limb as tactile feedback. The hand offers roughly 32 grip patterns (a subset available at any time), closes in about 200 milliseconds, and is cross-compatible with third-party control systems including EMG pattern-recognition software, direct EMG, linear transducers and force-sensitive-resistor inputs.
