What it is
A modular powered prosthetic arm system, originally developed under a DARPA research programme and now manufactured and sold by Mobius Bionics, configurable for transradial, transhumeral or shoulder-disarticulation amputation levels. In its fullest configuration it provides ten powered degrees of freedom including shoulder, humeral rotation, elbow, wrist and grip. It supports several control input schemes including surface EMG electrodes, wireless foot-pedal (IMU) controls, pressure transducers and switches, and includes vibratory tactile feedback activated by thumb sensors.
