Robotic arm
What it is
A lightweight six-axis robotic arm that mounts to a powered wheelchair and is operated through the chair's existing drive control — joystick, head array, sip-and-puff or other alternative input. It is designed for everyday reaching and grasping tasks: picking up dropped items, opening doors, taking objects from shelves, and eating or drinking unaided. The arm carries a two- or three-fingered gripper and is intended for personal daily use rather than clinical or industrial settings.
