What it is
A head-worn electronic low-vision aid (successor to the IrisVision Live/Inspire line) that uses a smartphone-class camera and display inside a headset to magnify and enhance a user's view in real time, with adjustable zoom, contrast and colour settings for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other central or peripheral vision loss. It includes 'Iris', a built-in voice assistant that responds to spoken commands to zoom, read text aloud, take a photo, or answer general questions, in 11 languages. FDA Class I registered in prior IrisVision generations.
