Guided Frame (Pixel Camera)

Audio and vibration cues that let a blind or low-vision person independently frame and take a photo
What it is
Guided Frame is an accessibility feature in the Pixel Camera app that helps blind and low vision users independently compose and take photographs. When enabled (automatically when TalkBack is on, or manually via Camera settings), the camera detects a subject — a face, pet, food, drink, document, or vehicle — and provides audio instructions, high-contrast animation, and vibration to guide the phone into position, then can capture automatically once the subject is well framed. A related feature, Scene Description, uses Google's Gemini models to describe in more detail what the camera currently sees.
