What it is
Google Gemini is Google's consumer AI assistant app for iOS, Android and web. Its 'Gemini Live' mode holds a continuous, real-time spoken conversation while optionally sharing a live camera or screen feed, so the assistant can be asked about whatever the camera is currently pointed at without taking a discrete photo first and restarting the exchange each time. It also handles general text chat, document analysis and task assistance. A free tier is available; Google AI Pro/Ultra subscriptions unlock higher usage limits and more capable models.
