AI-assisted structured audio note-taking accommodation (formerly Sonocent / Glean)
What it is
Genio (the current name for the product formerly branded Sonocent Audio Notetaker and later Glean) is note-taking software that records audio while a user types, breaking the recording into colour-coded segments the user can tag, highlight and sync with their typed notes. AI features include automatically generated study aids ('Quiz Me') and organisation of highlighted segments into structured notes. It is sold to educational institutions on department or institution-wide licences and is also used by individuals as a funded workplace or study accommodation. It runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and web.
