Equation editor and math accessibility tool with speech, handwriting and screenshot input
What it is
A digital math tool (from Everway, formerly Texthelp) that lets students create mathematical, chemical and scientific notation by typing with predictive equation input, speaking the equation aloud, or handwriting it with a mouse, touchscreen or stylus, converting each into standard digital math markup. Its Screenshot Reader converts an image of printed or on-screen math into accessible, screen-reader-readable equations, and it generates alt-text for equations automatically. It works as a browser extension and mobile app alongside Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canvas and other platforms.
