What it is
A free mobile app from Envision Technologies for iOS, iPadOS and Android that uses the device camera and AI to read printed and handwritten text aloud in over 60 languages, describe surroundings on request, detect colour, and recognise people who have been taught to the app by name. An 'Ask Envision' conversational mode lets a user ask follow-up questions about a captured image or scene. It is the software half of the same product line as Envision's dedicated smart glasses.
