What it is
A soft robotic glove for people with reduced hand grip strength. Pressure sensors in the glove detect when the wearer initiates a grip, and small electric motors then amplify that effort through artificial tendons running to the fingers, proportional to how hard the user is trying to grip. A separate power/control unit is worn on the back, waist, or attached to a wheelchair. The glove configuration can be set to support either the middle/ring or index/middle fingers, and settings are managed via a companion iOS/Android app.
