The August Wi-Fi Smart Lock is a retrofit smart lock that attaches to the inside of an existing deadbolt, keeping the original exterior keyway. It has built-in Wi-Fi (no separate bridge required) and supports voice control and status checks via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri/Apple HomeKit, geofencing-based auto-unlock on arrival and auto-lock on departure, and remote guest access that lets an owner grant or revoke entry for a caregiver, cleaner or family member from anywhere via the app.
