What it is
Voice Control is a built-in accessibility feature on iOS, iPadOS and macOS that lets a user operate the entire device by speaking — opening apps, tapping on-screen buttons by name or by number overlay, dictating and editing text, and scrolling — without touching the screen, a mouse, or a keyboard. It is not limited to any one app: any button or control Voice Control can see, it can address by voice, which includes Voice Memos, third-party recording apps, and note-taking software alike.
