What it is
A free accessibility app bundled with iOS and iPadOS that combines a camera-based magnifier (zoom, contrast filters, brightness and colour adjustment, freeze-frame) with on-device AI 'Detection Mode' features: Point and Speak reads text on physical objects — keypads, appliance buttons, labels — as the user points a finger at them; People Detection and Door Detection describe the distance to a nearby person or doorway using LiDAR, with audio, haptic and on-screen cues.
