A systemwide reading mode that reformats any text into a font, color, and spacing that works for you
What it is
Accessibility Reader is a systemwide reading mode, introduced in iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, and visionOS 26, that presents text from any app in a full-screen, customizable view. It offers extensive controls over text color, background color, font (including a High Legibility Characters option), text size, bold text, line/word/character spacing, and link visibility, and can read the displayed text aloud with adjustable playback speed and highlighting. It is built into the Magnifier app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, so it can also be used to reformat and read real-world text captured through the camera, such as a restaurant menu, a letter, or a book page.
