What it is

Amazon Echo Show is a family of smart displays (currently the Show 5, Show 8 and Show 10/15) that run the Alexa voice assistant with a touchscreen and camera attached. Alexa can control paired smart-home devices (lights, thermostats, plugs, locks, cameras) by voice, set timers and reminders, read recipes aloud step by step, and play media hands-free. The camera-based 'Show and Tell' feature uses computer vision and machine learning to identify an object held up to the screen and speaks its name aloud, and was built specifically for blind and low-vision customers to identify unlabelled household and pantry items.
